Disassembly and Reassembly

DISASSEMBLY

1. REMOVE AIR VENT MODE CONTROL SERVOMOTOR
a. Disconnect the connector.





b. Remove four screws and the servomotor.
2. REMOVE ASPIRATOR
Remove the screw and aspirator.
3. REMOVE HEATER RADIATOR





a. Remove the packing.
b. Remove the screw and the plate.
c. Remove two screws and the clamp.





d. Pull the radiator out.





4. REMOVE WATER TEMPERATURE SENSOR
a. Disconnect the connector.
b. After pulling off the clamp, pull out the sensor.





5. REMOVE NO.1 AIR DUCT
- Remove three screws and the No.1 air duct.
6. REMOVE MAX COOL DAMPER CONTROL SERVOMOTOR ASSEMBLY





a. Using a screw driver, pry loose the two clips and pull out the max cool damper control plates.





b. Remove the screw and disconnect the connector.
c. Remove two screws and the servomotor.
7. REMOVE AIR MIX DAMPER CONTROL SERVOMOTOR ASSEMBLY
a. Remove the control cable.





b. Using a screw driver pry loose the clip and pull out the air mix damper control plate.
c. Disconnect the connector.





d. Remove four screws and the servomotor assembly.

8. REMOVE VENT AIR DUCT





a. disconnect the shaft from the control lever.





b. Remove the screw and the wire harness.
c. Remove two screws and the vent air duct.

ASSEMBLY

Assemble by following the disassembly procedure in reverse order.





HINT: Connect the center vent damper control plate and shaft with the defrost damper control plate and center vent damper control plate turned fully counterclockwise.
