No.1 Vehicle Speed Sensor Assembly Replacement





1. SUPPORT TRANSMISSION WITH JACK
2. REMOVE REAR SUPPORT MEMBER
- Remove the 4 nuts.
- Remove the 4 bolts and support member.
3. REMOVE TRANSMISSION MOUNTING BRACKET
- Remove the 4 bolts and mounting bracket form the transmission.





4. DISCONNECT NO.1 VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR CONNECTOR
5. REMOVE NO.1 VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR ASSEMBLY
- Remove the bolt and No.1 vehicle speed sensor assembly.
- Remove the speedometer driven gear and O-ring from the No.1 vehicle speed sensor.
6. INSTALL NO.1 VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR ASSEMBLY
- Coat a new O-ring with ATF.
- Install the O-ring and speedometer driven gear to the No.1 vehicle speed sensor.
- Install the No.1 vehicle speed sensor assembly to the extension housing RH side and torque the bolt.

Torque: 16 N.m (160 kgf.cm, 12 ft.lb.)

7. CONNECT NO. 1 VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR CONNECTOR
8. INSTALL TRANSMISSION MOUNTING BRACKET
- Install the mounting bracket with the 4 bolts to the transmission.

Torque: 25 N.m (260 kgf.cm, 19 ft.lb.)

9. INSTALL REAR SUPPORT MEMBER
- Install the rear support member with the 4 bolts.

Torque: 25 N.m (260 kgf.cm, 19 ft.lb.)

- Install the 4 nut.

Torque: 13 N.m (130 kgf.cm, 9 ft.lb.)
