Rear

1. DISCONNECT HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR FROM FRONT EXHAUST PIPE
- Disconnect the wire grommet from the floor.
- Remove the 2 bolts and sensor cover.
- Disconnect the oxygen sensor from the exhaust pipe.





2. REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE (REAR TWC)
- Remove the 2 bolts holding the front exhaust pipe to the center exhaust pipe.
- Remove the 2 bolts and nuts holding the front exhaust pipe to the No.2 front exhaust pipe.
- Remove the front exhaust pipe and 2 gaskets.
3. REINSTALL FRONT EXHAUST PIPE (REAR TWC)
- Install 2 new gaskets, the front exhaust pipe with the 4 bolts and 2 nuts.

Torque: 43 N.m (440 kgf.cm, 32 ft.lb.)

4. RECONNECT HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR
- Install the oxygen sensor to the front exhaust pipe.

Torque: 44 N.m (450 kgf.cm, 33 ft.lb.)

HINT:
- Before installing the oxygen sensor, twist the sensor wire counterclockwise 3 and a 1/2 turns.
- After installing the oxygen sensor, check that the sensor wire is not twisted.
- If it is twisted. remove the oxygen sensor and reinstall it.

- Install the sensor cover with the 2 bolts.
- Install the wire grommet to the floor.
