Radiator Cooling Fan Motor: Testing and Inspection

1. Disconnect fan connector.
2. Connect battery and ammeter to the cooling fan connector as in Fig. 2.

3. Ensure the cooling fan rotates smoothly, and check the reading on the ammeter. The standard amperage is 6.0-7.4 A.
4. Reconnect fan connector and battery ground.
