Brake Actuator

1. Ensure battery voltage is between 10-15 volts.
2. Remove air cleaner.
3. Disconnect actuator electrical connectors.
4. Connect actuator check tool No. 09990-00150 to actuator and body side harness through sub wire harness.
5. Connect checker tool red cable to battery positive terminal and black cable to battery ground, connect black cable of sub wire harness to battery ground terminal or body ground.
6. Install air cleaner.
7. Start engine and allow to idle.
8. Turn actuator checker switch to Front RH position.
9. Depress and hold Sub Motor switch for a few seconds.
10. Depress brake pedal and hold until step 13 is completed.
11. Depress Main, ensuring brake pedal does not go down. Do not depress Main Switch for more then 10 seconds.
12. Release switch, ensuring brake pedal can be depressed.
13. Depress and hold Sub Motor switch for a few seconds, ensuring pedal returns.
14. Release brake pedal.
15. Depress and hold Sub Motor switch for a few seconds.
16. Depress brake pedal and hold about 15 seconds, as pedal is down, depress Sub Motor switch for a few seconds, ensuring pedal does not pulsate.
17. Turn Main selector switch to Front LH position.
18. Repeat steps 8 through 16, then inspect Rear RH and Rear LH. When inspecting Rear LH, depress Rear LH switch instead of Power Switch and selector switch can be inspected.
19. Depress and hold Sub Motor switch for a few seconds.
