1. Disconnect battery ground cable and disable airbag system as described under MAINTENANCE PROCEDURE/AIRBAG SYSTEM DISARMING.
2. Remove wiper arm and blade assembly, Fig. 25.
3. Remove cowl louver as follows:
a. Using a clip remover, remove thirteen clips and the weatherstrip.
b. Pull cowl louver forward and out of vehicle.
4. Remove wiper motor and link assembly as follows:
a. Remove six wiper link bolts.
b. Disconnect wiper motor connector and remove four wiper motor bolts.
c. Connect claw of wiper link to panel.
d. Disconnect wiper motor from wiper link and remove it.
e. Remove wiper link through service hole.
5. Reverse procedure to install, torque four bolts to 18 ft. lb.
