Removal
Refer to Fig. 83 when replacing suspension arms.
1. Raise and support vehicle, then remove wheel and tire assembly.
2. Disconnect LSPV spring from lower arm.
3. Remove two nuts and washers, then No. 2 suspension arm, Fig. 84.
4. Remove left and right stabilizer bushing retainer, Fig. 85.
5. Remove exhaust center pipe and tail pipe.
6. Support suspension member with a jack as shown in Fig. 86.
7. Remove six nuts and right and left suspension member lower stopper.
8. Lower suspension member and remove No. 1 lower suspension arm bolts and lower suspension arm.

Installation
1. Install No. 1 lower suspension arm and two bolts. Face paint mark on arm toward rear of vehicle.
2. Jack up suspension member and install suspension member lower supports and six nuts. Torque nut A to 83 ft. lb. and nut B to 28 ft. lb., Fig. 87.
3. Install left and right stabilizer bushing retainers. Torque bolts to 14 ft .lbs.
4. Install exhaust center pipe and tail pipe.
5. Install No. 2 lower suspension arm and temporarily install both nuts. Face paint mark on arm toward rear of car.
6. Connect LSPV spring to lower arm and torque to 9.4 ft. lb.
7. Torque nut on outside of lower arm to 134 ft. lb.
8. Install rear wheel and lower vehicle, then bounce vehicle up and down to stabilize suspension.
9. Jack up vehicle and support body with stands, then remove rear wheel and support rear axle carrier with jack.
10. Torque nut on inside of lower arm to 134 ft. lb.
11. Install rear wheels and lower vehicle.
12. Inspect and adjust rear wheel alignment.
