Throttle Valve Cable/Linkage: Adjustments

Fig. 9 Throttle Cable Adjustment:

1. Remove throttle body cover attaching bolts and nut, then the cover.
2. Ensure throttle valve is fully closed and there is no slack in the inner cable.
3. Measure distance between outer cable end and cable stopper. Standard distance is 0-0.04 inch. If distance is not as indicated, adjust cable by the adjusting nuts, Fig. 9.
4. Reinstall throttle body cover attaching bolts and nut.
