Sub Throttle Position Sensor





1. Insert a 0.30 mm (0.012 in) or 0.50 mm (0.020 in) feeler gauge between the throttle stop screw and throttle valve gear.








2. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between each terminal.
3. If necessary, adjust sub-throttle position sensor.
- Loosen the 2 set screws of the sub-throttle position sensor.





- Insert a 0.30 mm (0.012 in) feeler gauge between the throttle stop screw and throttle valve gear.
- Connect the tester probes of an ohmmeter to terminals IDL2 and E2 of the sub-throttle position sensor.





- Gradually turn the sub-throttle position sensor clockwise until the ohmmeter deflects, and secure it with the 2 set screws.








4. Recheck the continuity between terminals IDL2 and E2.
