Sub Heated Oxygen Sensors





COMPONENTS FOR REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION





1. DISCONNECT NEGATIVE (-) TERMINAL CABLE FROM BATTERY.

CAUTION: Work must be started after 90 seconds from the time the ignition switch is turned to the LOCK position and the negative (-) terminal cable is disconnected from the battery.





2. REMOVE TRANSMISSION SHIFT LEVER KNOB.
- Push down the lever cover.





- Remove the 2 screws and shift lever knob.
- Remove the lever cover.





3. REMOVE CUP HOLDER.
- Using a screwdriver, pry out the rear side of the cup holder.
- Remove the cup holder.





4. REMOVE UPPER REAR CONSOLE PANEL.
- Using a screwdriver, pry out the console panel.





5. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL.
- Remove the 6 screws.
- Using a screwdriver, pry out the console panel.





6. REMOVE RADIO.
- Remove the 5 bolts.
- Disconnect the wiring connectors and antenna cable, and remove the radio.





8. REMOVE SUB HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR(S).
- Disconnect the wire grommet from the floor panel.

- Disconnect the wire grommet from the floor panel.





- Remove the oxygen sensor.
9. INSTALL SUB HEARTED OXYGEN SENSOR(S).

Torque: 44 Nm (33 ft lb)

- Run the wire of the oxygen sensor through the hole in the floor panel.
- Reinstall the wire grommet to the floor panel.





- Reconnect the 2 oxygen sensor connectors.





10. REINSTALL RADIO.
- Connect the wiring connectors and antenna cable.
- Install the radio with the 5 bolts.





11. REINSTALL UPPER CONSOLE PANEL.
- Fit the console panel to the console box with the 5 clips.
- Install the console panel with the 6 screws.





12. REINSTALL UPPER REAR CONSOLE PANEL.
- Fit the console panel to the console box with the 4 clips.





13. REINSTALL CUP HOLDER.
- Fit the cup holder to the console box.





14. REINSTALL TRANSMISSION SHIFT LEVER KNOB.
- Slide the lever cover on the lever shaft.





- Install the shift lever knob with the 2 screws.





- Attach the lever cover to the lower side of the lever knob.
15. RECONNECT NEGATIVE (-) TERMINAL CABLE TO BATTERY.
