Inspect/Adjust
    Valve Clearance
      Check (audible inspection) and adjust if necessary.
    Drive Belt
Check
    Vehicle
      While driving the vehicle, check the proper operation of the engine, transmission, brakes and steering. Check for abnormal noises or vibrations from any part of the vehicle. General body check.
Tighten/Torque
    Body and Frame
      Inspect and tighten bolts and nuts on body and chassis.
Inspect
    Steering Gear Housing
      Inspect steering gear housing oil. Also, check for leakage and damage.
    Steering
      Check linkages for wear and damage. Inspect boots for damage.
    Paint
      Inspect body for corrosion and paint condition.
    Fuel Supply Line
      Includes inspection of all fuel lines, connections, fuel tank band and vapor vent system.
    Exhaust System
      Inspect exhaust pipes and mountings for looseness and damage.
    Evaporative Emission Control Canister
      New York, Massachusetts, and California only. Inspect for damage or leaks.
    Constant Velocity Joint Boot
      Inspect for leakage and damage.
    Brakes and Traction Control
      Check brake pads and discs (Front and rear) for leakage, wear, and damage. Also, check drums, linings and parking brake.
    Brake Hose/Line
      Inspect line pipes and hoses for leaks, cracks, and damage.
    Ball Joint
      Inspect ball joints and dust covers.
Replace
    Timing Belt
      Applicable to vehicles operated under conditions of extensive idling and/or low speed driving for long distances such as police, taxi, or door-to-door delivery use.
    Spark Plug
      Replace with correct type and gap according to manufacturers specification.
    Oil Filter, Engine
    Fuel Filler Cap
      Replace fuel filler cap gasket.
    Fluid - Differential
    Fluid - A/T
    Engine Oil
    Brake Fluid
    Air Filter Element
      Perform at mileage interval or every 6 months whichever occurs first.
Rotate
    Tires
