The plastic front seat back protector on the SC 300/400 has been changed to a polypropylene clip-on type to improve the wear resistance on the leather seat back material at the outer side bolster (see illustration).

NOTE:
The new clip-on style protectors are intended to snap on to the side wire and may require removing a small section of felt from the side wire on earlier vehicles (built prior to 05/94).
