Diagnostic Trouble Code Check

NOTICE: There are 2 different procedures for obtaining trouble codes. Be sure to perform both procedures to obtain all trouble codes.
Input Signal Check (Test Mode Check)

1. Remove the DOME-FR fuse in the engine room J/B.

NOTICE: Removing the DOME-FR fuse cuts off the back-up power to the power seat memory and the clock. Before starting repairs, make a note of the power seat position. Then, before returning the vehicle to the customer, reset the power seat to the previously memorized position and reset the clock.

2. Open the driver's door.

3. Using SST, connect terminals between Tc and E1 of DLC1 or DLC2.

4. Turn ignition switch on.

5. Read the diagnostic trouble code output by height control indicator light inside the meter.

HINT:
- When the engine is not starting, diagnostic trouble code "73" is output. This is not abnormal.
- When a diagnostic trouble code is not output, check the Tc terminal circuit.
