Fuel Pressure Pulsation Damper: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. REMOVE V-BANK COVER.
2. REMOVE FUEL PRESSURE PULSATION DAMPER.
- Remove the pulsation damper and upper gasket.



- Disconnect the fuel inlet hose from the delivery pipe, and remove the lower gasket.

CAUTION: Put a shop towel under the delivery pipe.

- Slowly loosen the pulsation damper.


RE-INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL FUEL PRESSURE PULSATION DAMPER.



- Using SST, install 2 new gaskets, the inlet hose and pulsation damper.
- (SST 09612-24014 (09617-24011))

Torque: 39 N.m (29 ft.lb)
33 N.m (24 ft.lb) for SST
HINT: Use a torque wrench with a fulcrum length of 30 cm (11.81 in.)

2. INSTALL V-BANK COVER.
