Condenser Removal
Note: Installation is in the reverse of removal
1. Discharge refrigerant from system
Installation Note: Evacuate air from A/C system. Charge system with refrigerant specified amount: 700 + or - 50g (29.69 + or - 1.76oz.)
2. Remove air cleaner hose and radiator upper mountings.
3. Disconnect the liquid line from the condenser and remove receiver with receiver holder.
Torque: 10Nm (100kgf-cm, 7ft-lbs.)
Removal Notice: Cap the open fittings immediately to keep moisture out of the system.
Installation note: Lubricate the new o-rings with compressor oil before installation of fittings.
4. Remove the hood lock support and horns, disconnect the connector and remove the 2 bolts and condenser fan.
5. Disconnect the discharge tube from condenser
Torque: 10Nm (100kgf-cm, 7ft-lbs.)
Removal Notice: Cap the open fittings immediately to keep moisture out of the system.
Installation note: Lubricate the new o-rings with compressor oil before installation of fittings.
6. Push the radiator toward engine and remove the 2 condenser upper mounting bolts.
7. Push the condenser toward the radiator and pull it up.
Installation Note: If condenser was replaced, add 40cc (1.4 fl.oz.) of compressor oil.
Compressor oil: ND-Oil 8 or equivalent
