Evaporative Check Valve: Description and Operation

PURPOSE
The Evaporative Check valve is used to allow fresh air to flow into the Evaporative Emission Control Canister and prohibit fuel vapors from escaping until purged.

OPERATION
The Evaporative Check Valve incorporates a check ball and spring to allow air flow in one direction only and is inline with the fresh air hose to the Evaporative Emission Control Canister.
