Control Assembly: Service and Repair

REMOVAL









1. Remove console upper panel and center cluster finish panel
(a) Using a screwdriver, remove the panels.

Note: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.





2. Remove front ash receptacle.
(a) Apply adhesive tape to protect the radio.
(b) Remove 4 screws and the ash receptacle.





3. Remove console box
(a) Remove the cover.
(b) Remove 2 bolts, 4 screws and the box.





4. Remove register No. 3

Note: Using a screwdriver, remove the register No.3. Tape the screwdriver tip before use.





5. Remove radio with control assembly.
(a) Remove 4 bolts.
(b) Remove the radio with A/C control assembly then disconnect the connectors.





(c) Remove 4 screws, 8 bolts and the brackets.
(d) Remove the A/C control from the radio.

Note: Installation is reverse of removal.
