Title: RADIATOR & UPPER TANK ASSEMBLIES

For parts standardization purposes, the Radiator and Upper Tank Assemblies have been changed on the 3VZ-FE ES 300 Engine effective April 1994. The radiator cap and overflow hose have been eliminated on the updated service parts. Part number information and interchangeability, as well as part replacement recommendations are provided in this bulletin.

REPLACEMENT USING NEW SERVICE PARTS:




When replacing a Radiator or Upper Tank Assembly, use the original overflow hose for the radiator reserve tank. Refer to the illustrations and guidelines:

^ Adjust the length of the hose and connect it to the radiator reserve tank cap.

^ Readjust the position of the protector to prevent the hose from making contact with the engine moving control rod.
