Fuel Rail: Description and Operation

PURPOSE
The Fuel Delivery pipe is used to distribute fuel at regulated pressure to the Injectors

OPERATION
The Fuel Delivery pipe is pressurized with fuel on one side and the Fuel Pressure Regulator is mounted on the other side and returns excess fuel back to the Fuel Tank to maintain correct pressure. The Injectors are attached to the Fuel Delivery Pipe and fuel is passed to each Injector equally.
