PROCEDURE

CAUTION: After affecting any repair that requires disassembly of fuel related components, inspect carefully for fuel leaks upon completion.

1. install the Fuel Pump.





- Install a new gasket to the set plate.
- Connect the Fuel Pump hose to the Fuel Pump bracket and install the Fuel Pump and bracket assembly with the three nuts.

Torque: 5.4 Nm (48 in lb)





- Install the set plate with the eight bolts.

Torque: 3.9 Nm (35 in lb)





2. Install partition cover using butyl tape.
3. Install rear seatback and cushion.





4. Connect the Fuel Pump connector.
5. Install the luggage compartment cover.
6. Install the spare tire and luggage compartment floor mat.
7. Reconnect the negative (-) terminal cable to the battery.
8. Start the engine and check for fuel leaks.
