Fuel Pressure Pulsation Damper: Description and Operation

PURPOSE
The Fuel Pressure Pulsation Damper smooths pulses from the fuel stream before they reach the injectors.

OPERATION
This device reduces pressure fluctuations in the system and helps reduce Fuel Pump noise. The damper contains no serviceable parts and therefore must be replaced as a unit, if malfunction occurs.
