SYSTEM: Injector Circuit

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
The injectors are located at the intake manifold. They inject fuel into the cylinders based on the signals from the Engine Control Module.





DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

1. Check voltage between terminals #10 through #40 of Engine Control Module and body ground.
- If OK proceed to step 3.
- If not OK proceed to step 2.
2. Check Ignition Relay.
- If OK check and repair harness and connector between Ignition Relay and battery.
- If not OK replace Ignition Relay.
3. Check continuity between terminals E01, E02 and body ground.
- If OK proceed to step 4.
- If not OK repair or replace harness or connector.
4. Check for open in harness and connector between Ignition Relay and Engine Control Module.
- If OK proceed to step 5.
- If not OK repair or replace harness or connector.
5. Check operation for Injectors.
- If OK proceed to DIAGNOSIS BY SYMPTOM.
- If not OK replace Injector.
