DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

HINT: Perform troubleshooting of diag. trouble code 1 2 first. If no trouble is found, troubleshoot the following mechanical systems.

1. .Inspect sensor installation. Check if any teeth of NE signal plate are broken.
- If OK proceed to step 2.
- If not OK tighten the sensor or replace signal plate.
2. .Check valve timing (Check for loose and jumping teeth of timing belt).
- If OK check for momentary interruption / loose connections.
- If not OK Adjust valve timing (Repair or replace timing belt).
