Radiator Cooling Fan Motor Relay: Service and Repair

When performing the following underhood servicing, it is necessary to disarm the airbag system. Refer to Technician Safety Information. After completion of procedure, rearm airbag system.

There are three relays which control the operation of the cooling fans. These relays are located on the lefthand side of the engine compartment in the relay centers, Fig. 1. The lefthand headlamp assembly must be removed to gain access to the relay center.
