Electronic Brake Control Module: Service and Repair

REMOVE NO.2 UNDER COVER
(a) Using a clip remover, remove the clips.
(b) Using the screwdriver, remove the cover.






DISCONNECT FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG WIRING HARNESS CONNECTOR
(a) Using the screwdrivers, pry out the glove compartment finish plate.
(b) Disconnect the two screws.

REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT
(a) Using the screwdriver, remove NO.2 glove compartment panel.
(b) Disconnect LH side check arm from the door.
(c) Using a screwdriver, push in the top of clip and remove five clips.
(d) Insert a plastic plate between the upper of the compartment to remove it.
(e) Disconnect the connector from the glove compartment.
(f) Remove the nut and two bolts.
(g) Remove the lock striker plate from the safety pad.






REMOVE PASSENGER AIR BAG DOOR ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the three bolts.
(b) Remove the clips of passenger airbag door from the safety pad.
(c) Remove passenger airbag door assembly.






REMOVE RH LOWER PAD
(a) Remove five bolts.
(b) Using a screwdriver, remove the lower pad.
(c) Disconnect the connectors from the lower pad.






REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR
Remove the bolt, four screws and the door.






REMOVE ABS ECU
(a) Remove a bolt. a nut and ABS ECU.
(b) Disconnect the connectors.

INSTALL IN REVERSE ORDER
