PROCEDURE

CAUTION: After affecting any repair that requires disassembly of fuel related components, inspect carefully for fuel leaks upon completion.

1. install the Fuel Pump.





- Install a new gasket to the set plate.
- Connect the Fuel Pump hose to the Fuel Pump bracket and install the Fuel Pump and bracket assembly with the three nuts.

Torque: 5.4 Nm (48 in lb)





- Install the set plate with the eight bolts.

Torque: 2.9 Nm (26 in lb)

- Connect the wire clamp to the Fuel Tank.





2. Install room partition cover using butyl tape, with the arrow facing upward, with the six nuts.





3. Install room partition trim.





4. Install rear seatback.
- Push down the seat back and install the four bolts.

Torque: 18 Nm (13 ft lb)





5. Install the rear seat cushion.
- Pass the seat cushion wire to seatback. Before installation, confirm that the rear seat belts are positioned correctly.
- Push down the cushion to install the hook to the body panel. Confirm that the seat is installed firmly.





6. Connect the Fuel Pump connector.





7. Install the luggage compartment trim front cover.
8. Install luggage compartment floor mat.
9. Reconnect the negative (-) terminal cable to the battery.
10. Start the engine and check for fuel leaks.
