- Connect the Check Harness A.
- Turn Ignition Switch ON.
- Measure voltage between terminals # 10 through 60 of Engine Control Module and body ground.

Voltage: 9 - 14 volts

- If OK proceed to step 3.
- If not OK proceed to step 2.
2. Check IG2 relay.

- Remove IG2 relay from Relay Box No. 2.
- Check continuity between terminals of IG2 relay as shown.

Terminals 3 and 5; Open
Terminals 1 and 2; Continuity

- Apply battery voltage between terminals 1 and 2.
- Check continuity between terminals 3 and 5.

Terminals 3 and 5; Continuity

- If OK check and repair harness and connector between IG2 relay and battery.

- If OK proceed to step 5.
- If not OK repair or replace harness or connector.
5. Check Injectors.

- Disconnect Injector connector.
- Measure resistance of Injector.

Resistance: 13.4 to 14.2 ohms at 20°C (68°F)

- Check injection volume of Injector.

Injection volume; 70 to 88 cc (4.3 to 5.4 cu in.) /15 seconds
Difference between each injector; Less than 9 cc (0.5 cu in.)
Leakage; One drop or less per minute

- If OK check and replace Engine Control Module.
- If not OK replace Injector.
