CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
The vehicle speed sensor outputs a 4-pulse signal for every revolution of the transmission output shaft. After this signal converted into a more precise rectangular wave form by the wave form shaping circuit inside the combination meter, it is then recommended to the Engine Control Module (ECM).




DETECTING CONDITION




REFERENCE
- Reference waveform between terminals SP1 and E1 when vehicle speed is approx. 37 mph (60 km/h).

HINT: The more the vehicle speed gains, the more the SP1 signal produces.
