SC 300/SC 400 WINDOW REGULATOR "CREAKING AND POPPING" NOISE
The following information describes a new improved window regulator which will eliminate the "Creaking" and/or "Popping" noise that occurs when raising or lowering the window glass.
IMPROVEMENT DESCRIPTION:
The main guide sub-assembly is comprised of the main guide, guide slider and regulator cable. The guide slider travels along the main guide as the window is opened or closed (See figure 1).
The design of the guide slider for the front window regulator has been modified. Additional resin has been incorporated in the guide slider to reduce the clearance between the guide slider and main guide (See figure 2).

REPAIR METHOD:
To repair the "Creaking & Popping" condition, remove the regulator and replace with new parts from stock. All service parts are the new design. Although there has been a modification to the regulator, the part number has not changed.
