Fig. 17 Exploded View Of Lower Suspension Arm Components:

1. Raise and support vehicle, then remove front wheels.
2. Remove engine undercover, then disconnect stabilizer bar link from lower suspension arm, Fig. 17.
3. Disconnect steering knuckle from lower suspension arm using ball joint puller 09628-62011 or equivalent.
4. Disconnect shock absorber from lower suspension arm, scribe alignment marks on front and rear lower suspension arm adjustment cams, then remove nuts, adjusting cams and lower suspension arm.
5. Inspect ball joint.
6. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Prior to completely tightening adjusting cams and nuts, stabilize suspension by installing wheels and bouncing vehicle up and down several times, then align scribe marks and tighten adjusting cam nuts to specifications.
