Displaying & Reading Trouble Codes

Fig. 6 DCL1 Short Pin:

1. Turn ignition switch to On position.
2. Disconnect short pin from DLC1, Fig. 6, then connect diagnosis check wire tool No. 09843-18020, or equivalent, to terminals Tc and E1 of DLC1 or DLC2.
3. Read diagnostic trouble code from ABS warning light on combination meter. If no diagnostic trouble code appears, inspect diagnostic circuit or ABS warning circuit.
4. After completing check, disconnect terminals Tc and E1 and turn off display. If more than one diagnostic trouble code is stored, lowest number will appear first.
