EGR Temperature Sensor: Locations

Control System Components:

Air Flow Meter
Mounted to the air cleaner box in the left corner of the engine compartment.

Camshaft Position Sensor
Mounted in the distributor.

Cold Start Injector
Mounted to the air intake chamber, on the right side of the engine compartment.

Engine RPM Sensor (Crankshaft Position)
Mounted in the distributor.

ECM
Under the right side of the dash.

EGR Temperature Sensor
Threaded into the EGR valve, near the throttle body.

Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor
Threaded in to the water jacket, near the distributor.

Idle Air Control Valve
Mounted on the throttle body in the rear of the engine compartment.

Igniter
Mounted at the left side strut tower.

Knock Sensors
Threaded into the engine block under the intake manifold.

SFI Main Relay
Located in junction box at left front corner of engine compartment.

Throttle Position Sensor
Mounted on the throttle body, in the rear of the engine compartment.
