CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
The No. 1 speed sensor outputs a 4-pulse signal for every revolution of the differential case. After this signal is converted into a more precise rectangular waveform by the waveform shaping circuit inside the combination meter, it is then transmitted to the engine and Transmission Control Module (TCM).
DETECTING CONDITION
REFERENCE
- Waveform between terminals SP1 and E1, when vehicle speed is about 60 km/h (37 MPH).
HINT: The greater the vehicle speed, the greater the number of SP1 signals produced.
