Hydraulic Cooling Fan Fluid Cooler: Service and Repair

Removal
Refer to Fig. 4 when replacing oil cooler.
1. Remove fender liner.
2. Disconnect power steering oil cooler from cooling fan oil cooler.
3. Disconnect hoses from oil cooler.
4. Remove three bolts and oil cooler.
5. Inspect oil cooler for damage or clogging. If necessary, replace oil cooler.

Installation
1. Install oil cooler with three bolts. Torque bolts to 13 ft. lbs.
2. Connect hoses to oil cooler.
3. Connect power steering oil cooler to cooling fan oil cooler.
4. Install inner fender liner.
5. Fill power steering tank with fluid and bleed hydraulic system as described under BRAKES/DISC AND DRUM BRAKE SYSTEM/MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/HYDRAULIC SYSTEM BLEEDING.
