MUDGUARD INSTALLATION PROCEDURES

A mudguard kit is now available for installation on SC4OO. Be sure to thoroughly clean all attachment areas and carefully follow the installation procedures below.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE:

FRONT OF VEHICLE





1. Turn the steering wheel to the left or right to obtain space between the wheel arch molding area and the tire. Take out screws A, B and C, which secure the protective molding and the fender liner (see Figure 1).





2. Remove backing paper from the adhesive strip on the mudguard (see Figure 2).





3. Re-using screws A, B and C, install the mudguard firmly against body to ensure proper contact and attachment of adhesive strip. Tighten down screws as indicated in Figure 3.

REAR OF VEHICLE





1. Take out screws D and E, which secure the protective molding and the rear bumper (see Figure 4).





2. Insert the grommet, supplied in the kit, into the existing hole in the bottom edge of the bumper as shown in Figure 5.





3. Remove backing paper from the adhesive strip on the mudguard (Figure 6).





4. Re-using screws D, E and using one short screw, F, and one long screw, G, (supplied in the kit) install the mudguard while making sure to press mudguard firmly against body to ensure proper contact and attachment of adhesive strip and tighten down screws (see Figure 7).
