Removal of Seat and Seat Back Board

Remove the seat and seat back board from the vehicle using the procedures described in the SC400 Repair Manual ("BODY - Seat, Front Seat", Pages BO58 through BO61, Item 2).





REPLACEMENT OF SEAT BACK COVER

(1) Using a screwdriver with protective tape around the end, remove the three headrest plates as shown in Figure 1.

(2) Using a wire cuffer, cut the 24 hog rings shown in Figure 1 which secure the seat cover to the frame.





(3) Pull the support wires from the outside flaps of the seat cover and remove the seat cover and pad from the frame as indicated in Figure 2.





(4) Using a wire cutter, cut the remaining 14 hog rings shown in Figure 3 and remove the seat cover from the pad.
