Installation of Seat Back Cover
(6) Using 14 new hog rings, install the seat back cover to the seat pad in the order indicated in Figure 5.
(7) Using hog ring pliers, crimp the new hog rings around the seat cover and frame as shown in Figure 6.
(8) Install the seat back cover and pad over seat frame and insert support wires back into seat cover flaps as indicated in Figure 7.
(9) Confirm that the protector sheet is placed in the correct location. Reposition if necessary.
Note: The top of the protector sheet must extend approximately 40 mm above the top of the seat motor as shown in Figure 8.
(10) Firmly pull down on the two rubber cords attached to the top of the seat cover, pass the cords inside the seat frame and secure the cord to the seat frame by crimping a hog ring to the second knot of each cord (see Figure 9).
Note: Before proceeding, verify that the seat cover is not creased.
(11) Secure the upper seat cover to the upper seat frame with 7 hog rings as shown in Figure 10.
(12) Secure the bottom of the seat cover to the lower seat frame with 3 hog rings (marked "A", "B" and "C" in Figure 11).
Firmly pull the seat cover belts (located on the bottom corners of the seat cover) and secure with four hog rings (marked "1", "2", "3" and "4" in Figure 11).
(13) Secure the remaining seat cover areas with 8 hog rings as shown in Figure 12.
Reinstall the seat back board.
(14) Inspect the front seat (Figure 13).
^ Verify that creases do not exist in the areas marked "A". Creases can be eliminated by warming with a blow dryer, etc. It may be necessary to lightly spray creases with a vaporizer prior to using the dryer again.
^ Verify that the seat pad is not visible in the area "B". If the pad is visible, detach the belts described in step 12, push the pad in, and re-attach the belts.
^ Verify that gaps are not present in area "C". If gaps exist between the seat back and seat cover, the seat back board must be reinstalled.
