Connect the Female and Male Connectors

7. CONNECT THE FEMALE AND MALE CONNECTORS.

a) For the 40P connector female:

Push the female connector body into the male side until full lock position.

b) For the 80P connector (fixed bolt) female:

Match the guide section of the male connector with the female connector, press the two together.

Tighten the bolt. Confirm the connector is securely connected by tightening the bolt until there is less than 1 mm (0.04 in.) clearance between the bottom of the male connector and the end of the female connector.
