1. Release parking brake.
2. With engine running, depress brake pedal and measure pedal reserve distance, Fig. 4.
3. If pedal reserve distance is not 3.35 inch on ES 250, 2.76 inch on ES 300, 3.50 inch on SC 300 and SC 400 or 3.15 inch on LS 400 models while applying 110.2 lbs. of force, check all brake components for correct operation.
