Center Driveshaft

DISASSEMBLY
1. Using a suitable press, remove dust cover from transaxle side.
2. Using tool 09950-00020 or equivalent and a suitable press, remove driveshaft side dust cover.
3. Remove snap ring.
4. Using a suitable press, remove bearing.

ASSEMBLY
1. Install snap ring to the center driveshaft.
2. Using a suitable press and a extension bar, press in the bearing.
3. Install a new snap ring.
4. Install dust covers, as follows:
a. Using a suitable press, install driveshaft side dust cover. Clearance between the dust cover and the bearing should be .04-.08 inch.
b. Using a suitable press, install transaxle side dust cover. Clearance between dust cover and transaxle end should be 3.94-3.98 inch.
