Fig. 6 Marking Clutch Cover & Flywheel:

1. Remove transaxle from engine as described under MANUAL TRANSMISSION/TRANSAXLE.
2. Place matchmarks on flywheel and clutch cover, then remove clutch cover and clutch disc, Fig. 6.
3. Remove release bearing, fork and boot.
4. Install clutch disc and cover on flywheel. Using alignment tool 09301-17010 or equivalent, place clutch disc into position.
5. While using alignment tool to hold disc in position, torque cover bolts to 14 ft. lbs.
6. Apply lithium grease to all clutch fork contact points, then install release bearing, fork and boot to transaxle.
7. Install transaxle in vehicle as previously described.
