Replacement

WIPER / WASHER: FRONT WIPER RUBBER: REPLACEMENT

1. REMOVE FRONT WIPER BLADE LH

(a) Remove the holder of the front wiper blade.





(b) Remove the front wiper blade from the front wiper arm as shown in the illustration.

NOTICE:
Do not lower the front wiper arm with the front wiper blade removed. The arm tip may damage the windshield surface.

2. REMOVE FRONT WIPER BLADE RH

HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

3. REMOVE WIPER RUBBER LH

(a) Remove the wiper rubber LH with the wiper rubber backing plates from the front wiper blade LH as shown in the illustration.

(b) Remove the wiper rubber LH from the 2 wiper rubber backing plates.

4. REMOVE WIPER RUBBER RH

(a) Remove the wiper rubber RH with the wiper rubber backing plates from the front wiper blade RH as shown in the illustration.

(b) Remove the wiper rubber RH from the 2 wiper rubber backing plates.

5. INSTALL WIPER RUBBER LH

(a) Install the 2 wiper rubber backing plates to the wiper rubber LH.





NOTICE:
Align the protrusions on the wiper rubber LH and the notches of the backing plates.

(b) Install the wiper rubber LH to the front wiper blade LH as shown in the illustration.

NOTICE:
Push the wiper rubber LH into the wiper blade LH strongly to engage them securely.

6. INSTALL WIPER RUBBER RH

(a) Install the 2 wiper rubber backing plates to the wiper rubber RH.





NOTICE:
Align the protrusions on the wiper rubber RH and the notches of the backing plates.

(b) Install the wiper rubber RH to the front wiper blade RH as shown in the illustration.

NOTICE:
Push the wiper rubber RH into the wiper blade RH strongly to engage them securely.

7. INSTALL FRONT WIPER BLADE LH

(a) Install the front wiper blade LH as shown in the illustration.





(b) Install the holder of the front wiper blade LH.

8. INSTALL FRONT WIPER BLADE RH

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.
