DRIVE SHAFT / PROPELLER SHAFT: REAR DRIVE SHAFT ASSEMBLY (for TMC Made): INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL REAR DRIVE SHAFT ASSEMBLY

(a) Align the shaft splines and install the rear drive shaft assembly with a brass bar and a hammer.





NOTICE:
* Set the snap ring with the opening facing downward.
* Be careful not to damage the oil seal, boot or dust cover.
* Install the rear drive shaft assembly while keeping it level.

2. ADD DIFFERENTIAL OIL Replacement

3. INSPECT DIFFERENTIAL OIL Service and Repair

4. INSTALL DIFFERENTIAL INSPECTION PLUG Service and Repair

5. INSPECT FOR DIFFERENTIAL OIL LEAK

6. INSTALL REAR AXLE CARRIER SUB-ASSEMBLY
