Removal





SEAT BELT: REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY: REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION (w/ Navigation System for HDD)

NOTICE:
After the engine switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, make sure to wait at least 60 seconds before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

3. REMOVE TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY Removal

4. REMOVE DECK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

5. REMOVE NO. 4 REAR FLOOR BOARD (for LH Side)

(a) for Compact Spare Tire:

(1) Remove the No. 4 rear floor board Removal.

6. REMOVE NO. 4 REAR FLOOR BOARD (for LH Side)

(a) for Full Size Spare Tire:

(1) Remove the No. 4 rear floor board Removal.

7. REMOVE REAR DECK FLOOR BOX (for LH Side) Removal

8. REMOVE DECK SIDE TRIM BOX LH (for LH Side)

(a) for Compact Spare Tire:

(1) Remove the deck side trim box LH Removal.

9. REMOVE DECK SIDE TRIM BOX LH (for LH Side)

(a) for Full Size Spare Tire:

(1) Remove the deck side trim box LH Removal.

10. REMOVE FRONT DECK FLOOR BOX (for LH Side) Removal

11. REMOVE SPARE WHEEL COVER ASSEMBLY (for RH Side)

(a) for Compact Spare Tire:

(1) Remove the spare wheel cover assembly Removal.

12. REMOVE NO. 3 REAR FLOOR BOARD (for RH Side)

(a) for Compact Spare Tire:

(1) Remove the No. 3 rear floor board Removal.

13. REMOVE NO. 3 REAR FLOOR BOARD (for RH Side)

(a) for Full Size Spare Tire:

(1) Remove the No. 3 rear floor board Removal.

14. REMOVE DECK SIDE TRIM BOX RH (for RH Side)

(a) for Compact Spare Tire:

(1) Remove the deck side trim box RH Removal.

15. REMOVE DECK SIDE TRIM BOX RH (for RH Side)

(a) for Full Size Spare Tire:

(1) Remove the deck side trim box RH Removal.

16. REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY LH (for LH Side)

(a) Remove the rear seat assembly LH Removal.

17. REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY RH (for RH Side)

(a) Remove the rear seat assembly RH Removal.

18. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE Removal

19. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE Removal

20. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH SIDE PLATE Removal

21. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE COVER Removal

22. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM HOOK (for LH Side) Removal

23. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM HOOK (for RH Side) Removal

24. REMOVE ROPE HOOK ASSEMBLY Removal

25. REMOVE RECLINING REMOTE CONTROL BEZEL Removal

26. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY LH (for LH Side) Removal

27. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY RH (for RH Side) Removal

28. DISCONNECT REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the bolt and disconnect the floor end of the rear seat outer belt assembly.





29. REMOVE ROOF SIDE INNER GARNISH ASSEMBLY Removal

30. REMOVE REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the bolt and disconnect the shoulder anchor of the rear seat outer belt assembly.





HINT
When the bolt is removed, the shoulder anchor of the rear seat outer belt assembly also removed.

(b) Using a screwdriver, pull out the locking button in the direction shown by the arrow to release the lock, and disconnect the pretensioner connector as shown in the illustration.





NOTICE:
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

(c) Remove the 2 bolts and rear seat outer belt assembly.
