Disassembly

HEATING / AIR CONDITIONING: AIR CONDITIONING UNIT: DISASSEMBLY

1. REMOVE ID CODE BOX (IMMOBILISER CODE ECU) Removal

2. REMOVE NO. 3 AIR DUCT SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Disengage the 2 claws and guide, and remove the No. 3 air duct sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

3. REMOVE NO. 5 AIR DUCT SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Disengage the 2 claws and guide, and remove the No. 5 air duct sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

4. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING HARNESS ASSEMBLY (for TMC Made)

(a) Disconnect each connector.

(b) Disengage each clamp and remove the air conditioning harness assembly.

5. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING HARNESS ASSEMBLY (for TMMC Made)

(a) Disconnect each connector.

(b) Disengage each clamp and remove the air conditioning harness assembly.

6. REMOVE COOLER EXPANSION VALVE (for TMC Made)

(a) Using a 4 mm hexagon wrench, remove the 2 hexagon bolts and cooler expansion valve.

7. REMOVE COOLER EXPANSION VALVE (for TMMC Made)

(a) Using a 4 mm hexagon wrench, remove the 2 hexagon bolts and cooler expansion valve.

8. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING RADIATOR ASSEMBLY (for TMC Made)

(a) Remove the 2 screws.

(b) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the air conditioning radiator assembly.

9. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING RADIATOR ASSEMBLY (for TMMC Made)

(a) Remove the 6 screws and air conditioning radiator assembly from the blower assembly with cooler evaporator sub-assembly.

10. REMOVE NO. 2 AIR MIX DAMPER SERVO SUB-ASSEMBLY (for TMC Made)

(a) Remove the 2 screws and No. 2 air mix damper servo sub-assembly.

11. REMOVE NO. 2 AIR MIX DAMPER SERVO SUB-ASSEMBLY (for TMMC Made)

(a) Remove the 2 screws and No. 2 air mix damper servo sub-assembly.

12. REMOVE HEATER RADIATOR UNIT SUB-ASSEMBLY (for TMC Made)

(a) Disengage the 3 claws and remove the heater clamp.

(b) Remove the screw and clamp.

NOTICE:
Prepare a drain pan or cloth in case the cooling water leaks.

13. REMOVE HEATER RADIATOR UNIT SUB-ASSEMBLY (for TMMC Made)

(a) Disengage the 3 claws and remove the heater clamp.

(b) Remove the screw and clamp.

14. REMOVE ASPIRATOR PIPE

(a) Disengage the clamp.

(b) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the aspirator pipe.

15. REMOVE COOLER EVAPORATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY (for TMC Made)

(a) Remove the 6 screws.

(b) Disengage the 5 claws and remove the plate cover.

(c) Disengage the clamp and remove the cooler evaporator sub-assembly with the No. 1 cooler thermistor.

(d) Remove the 2 O-rings from the cooler evaporator sub-assembly.

(e) Disengage the 4 claws to remove the evaporator insulator.

16. REMOVE COOLER EVAPORATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY (for TMMC Made)

(a) Disengage the clamp and remove the cooler evaporator sub-assembly with the No. 1 cooler thermistor.

(b) Remove the 2 O-rings from the cooler evaporator sub-assembly.

17. REMOVE NO. 1 COOLER THERMISTOR Removal

18. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR MIX DAMPER SERVO SUB-ASSEMBLY (for TMC Made)

(a) Remove the 3 screws and No. 1 air mix damper servo sub-assembly.

19. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR MIX DAMPER SERVO SUB-ASSEMBLY (for TMMC Made)

(a) Remove the 3 screws and No. 1 air mix damper servo sub-assembly
