Removal

EXTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: SIDE MOULDING: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE FRONT DOOR LOWER OUTSIDE MOULDING

(a) Put protective tape around the front door lower outside moulding.

(b) Disengage the 5 claws and 5 clips to remove the front door lower outside moulding.





(c) Remove the 5 clips (quarter vent louver retainer) from the front door lower outside moulding.

2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR NO. 3 WEATHERSTRIP

(a) Disengage the 9 clips and remove the front door No. 3 weatherstrip.





3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OUTSIDE MOULDING SUB-ASSEMBLY

HINT
When removing the front door outside moulding sub-assembly, heat the vehicle body and front door outside moulding sub-assembly using a heat light.

Heating Temperature





NOTICE:
Do not heat the vehicle body or mouldings excessively.

(a) Put protective tape around the front door outside moulding sub-assembly.

(b) Remove the hole plug and nut.





(c) Disengage the 10 clips and guide, and remove the front door outside moulding sub-assembly.

(d) Remove the 10 clips (quarter vent louver retainer) and bolt from the front door outside moulding sub-assembly.

(e) Remove the gasket.

4. REMOVE REAR DOOR LOWER OUTSIDE MOULDING

(a) Put protective tape around the rear door lower outside moulding.

(b) Disengage the clip and disconnect the No. 2 access panel weatherstrip.





(c) Disengage the 5 claws and 4 clips to remove the rear door lower outside moulding.





(d) Remove the 4 clips (quarter vent louver retainer) from the rear door lower outside moulding.

5. REMOVE REAR DOOR NO. 3 WEATHERSTRIP

(a) Disengage the 6 clips and remove the rear door No. 3 weatherstrip.





6. REMOVE REAR DOOR OUTSIDE MOULDING SUB-ASSEMBLY

HINT
When removing the rear door outside moulding sub-assembly, heat the vehicle body and rear door outside moulding sub-assembly using a heat light.
