Removal

PARK ASSIST / MONITORING: ULTRASONIC SENSOR (for Rear Side): REMOVAL

1. REMOVE NO. 2 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT SIDE COVER PROTECTOR Removal

2. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT SIDE COVER PROTECTOR Removal

3. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ASSEMBLY Removal

4. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (for Back Sensor)

(a) Disconnect the connector.





HINT
The illustration is for the LH side. The RH side is the opposite of the LH side.

(b) Disengage the 2 claws as shown in the illustration and release the lock and remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor.

The illustration is for the LH side. The RH side is the opposite of the LH side.

5. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (for Back Sensor)

(a) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer.

The illustration is for the LH side. The RH side is the opposite of the LH side.

6. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (for Corner Sensor)

(a) Disconnect the connector.





HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side and the LH side.

(b) Disengage the 2 claws as shown in the illustration and release the lock and remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor.

Use the same procedure for the RH side and the LH side.

7. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (for Corner Sensor)

(a) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer.
