CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
To establish the water temperature counter which is designal to make the water temperature 75 °C (167 °F) in around the middle (10 waves) with LA#4 mode* at 25 °C (77 °F) of outside air temperature.
The counter is operated depending on the driving conditions such as SPD, load, outside air temperature. By the time this water temperature counter gets to 75 °C (167 °F) if the water temperature becomes 75 °C (167 °F), it is normal. If not, it is abnormal.
*LA#4 mode:
LA means Los Angeles 4 means the 4th of the plans offered to decide the mode and it is one of the driving patterns for measuring the exhaust gas.
This pattern was fixed while driving the downtown Los Angeles in the morning comminuting hour and this include both city closing and free way driving.

When troubleshooting, it is useful for determining whether the vehicle was running or stopped, the engine was warmed up or not, the air-fuel ratio was lean or rich, etc. at the time of the malfunction.
