REPAIR PROCEDURE

Back Door Stopper Rubbing Noise

To reduce noise caused by movement between the Back Door and the Back Door Stopper Cushion (attached to the body above the rear combination lamp), move the stopper cushion as shown.

NOTE # 1:
Moving the stopper cushion increases contact pressure that reduces movement between the two components.

NOTE # 2:
Do not Increase the diameter of the through holes in the stopper cushion since this may cause a water leak or cause difficulty in closing the back door.

Tonneau Cover Hanger Rivet Chaffering Noise

To reduce chattering noise caused by Tonneau Cover Hanger attaching rivets free-play, secure the rivets by applying quick-drying glue (superglue) as shown.

Spare Wheel Cover Rattle Noise

To reduce a rattle noise caused by freeplay of the rear section of the Spare Wheel Cover, attach two pieces of felt, sizes (1) L: 11O mm, W: 15 mm, T: 1 mm and (2) L: 95 mm, W: 20 mm, T: 1 mm from the Interior Noise kit (P/N 08231-00801) to the back side of the Spare Wheel Cover as shown.
