Component Inspection

Visual Check
1. IG KEY "OFF".
2. Check physical condition of CMPS.
3. Check the projection of cam-shaft visually after remove the CMPS.
4. Is everything O.K ?





CMPS check
1. IG KEY "OFF". (Don't disconnect sensors.)
2. Select "vehicle scopemeter" in the menu, and connect channel A of GDS with signal terminal of CMPS harness connector.
3. Engine start. And check the signal waveforms.

4. Is the signal waveform within specifications?
